Parade Application Information

There will be confirmation letters sent on or about June 30th - ONLY CONFIRMED ENTRANTS will be allowed to participate in the Lake
Zurich Lions AlpineFest Parade. Your confirmation letter will include your map and staging instructions.
Political Entries:
Any
elected official currently serving Ela Township or The Village of Lake Zurich including spouse and children may participate and distribute
candy only.
Anyone else in office or running for office wishing to participate will be required to give a $500.00 donation payable
to the Lake Zurich Lions Club. Anyone that does not comply with these rules will be barred from the Lake Zurich Lions AlpineFest Parade.
Entertainers:
Only
approved and confirmed entries will be allowed to participate in the Lake Zurich Lions AlpineFest Parade. Your confirmation letter
will include your map and staging instructions. If you do not receive a confirmation letter there will be no donation check cut for
your group!
Business Entries:
Business entries must be paid by credit card on line or by check made payable to the Lake Zurich
Lions Club for $300.00.
Non-Profit Organizations: The $100.00 donation is waived for non-profit organizations.
ALL PARTICIPANTS: Anyone
distributing flyers and/or advertisements, besides candy, will be barred from future participation in the Lake Zurich Lions AlpineFest
Parade.
ALL registrations must be accompanied by full payment. Registration will close no later than June 15th!
Space is limited.
Once the lineup is full, no more participants will be added. NO EXCEPTIONS!
Parade Kick-off time is 11:00am
Participants may begin
lining up at 9:30. No groups may enter the lineup later than 10:30am.
All parade vehicles must enter the line up area through
Paulus Park. Paulus Park is the first light on Route 12 North of Route 22. Turn right at the light to enter the park and continue
right to the parking area where a Lions Club Member will assist you. Please be prepared for weather, sun screen and water are a good
idea. Also, the line up area is a residential area. Please be respectful and keep the area nice and clean.
No Flyers of any kind
are to be distributed during the parade.
We have had a huge litter problem and anyone distributing flyers will be barred from the parade
and future parade appearances. Thank you for your cooperation.
Walking Group participants should be dropped off at Paulus Park
and have your vehicles parked at Lake Zurich High School which is at the end of the parade route. Any parade vehicle that cannot legally
be driven on open streets may be trailered to Paulus Park and unloaded. The tow vehicle or tailer must be brought immediately to Lake
zurich High school which is at the end of the parade route.

Please be aware that Main Street is closed from Church St. to Old Rand Road throughout AlpineFest.
